Leviticus 19:15-18 “‘Do not pervert justice; do not show partiality to the poor or favoritism to the great, but judge your neighbor fairly.16 “‘Do not go about spreading slander among your people. “‘Do not do anything that endangers your neighbor’s life. I am the Lord. 17 “‘Do not hate a fellow Israelite in your heart. Rebuke your neighbor frankly so you will not share in their guilt. 18 “‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.’”
1 John 4:4:16b, 19-21 God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. 19We love because he first loved us. 20Whoever claims to love God yet hates a brother is a liar. For whoever does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21 And he has given us this command: Anyone who loves God must also love his brother and sister.
John 14:1, 6 Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
John 14 and 15 various verses “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you. 15:12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
