Altar Guild

Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?” And I said, “Here am I. Send me!” Isaiah 6:8

The Altar Guild team is in need of building up our teams.

The Altar Guild makes a much needed and valuable contribution to the worship services at Our Savior. We set up the altar according to the seasons of the church year. Taking care of the sacred vessels, linens, vestments and set up for baptism. We keep the chancel and its furnishings clean.

There are several teams each consisting of two dedicated volunteers (women, men, and confirmed youth) who serve for a month, once or twice in a six month period. There are separate teams for the 8 am service and the 10:30 am service.
A six-month schedule is posted in the altar room.
